Blog homeI have worked in online travel for far too long (and the web even longer) - and I worry that my profession is having an impact on how I think.
I now can’t look at any travel website without scanning for mistakes or design issues (the misspelling of accommodation is my favourite). I think about how the search is organised and where they are getting their information from.
What other professions impact people’s daily lives? Do what do dentists think when meeting someone for the first time? Do they evaluate their dental work? What about inviting a chef to a home cooked meal?
I personally take enjoyment from TV so I am glad I don’t work in the TV industry - otherwise TV wouldn’t be fun at all (looking at all the production issues that, as an expert, you would pick up).
