Friday afternoon fun – do you get the “web”?

Friday, August 31st, 2007

There is a great expression I learnt once and that is “If you can’t measure it, you can’t manage it”.

So how do you measure if someone understands the web?

Lucy Spence, via her blog UnderTheNavBar, has come up with a wonderful set of indicators to test if you get it…..

Here are a few to give you an idea……

  • You’re not afraid to fail
  • You know that design is a hell of a lot more than just making things look pretty
  • You use data to drive your decisions
  • You know that “web 2.0” is just a phrase
  • You understand the difference between content, presentation and behaviour
  • You know blogging isn’t just a fad
  • etc

I score about 95%

Go and read the full list……
