Thats all folks! I am off for 2 weeks…… [Site news]

Friday, July 25th, 2008

I won’t be posting for 2 weeks as on Saturday I am getting married followed by 2 weeks honeymoon.

Apologies that I didn’t invite all you lot to the wedding….. but at least 3 people coming to the happy event have commented at least once on this blog….. scary thought!

Just for fun here is a bit of the hen night…

These were cards that the “hen” used to play “snap” with. Apparently a real stripper wasn’t appropriate.

Yep - there is 1 year’s worth of credibility down the drain in just one image!

If you are wondering what someone who works in the travel industry does for a travel holiday….. well I am travelling with Thailand Uncovered who are, as it happens, a client. What is worrying is that neither my wife “to be” nor I have any idea what we are going to do. I know there is a tailor-made itinerary planned - but its going to be a bit like the old “mystery tours” from years gone back.

See you all in a couple of weeks!

    Dear Alex “Buffed Up” Bainbridge,

There will be dozens of females across the travel industry wiping a tear from their eye on Saturday.

It is the kind of news that sends lovestruck women into fits of despair.

Another hunk bites the dust. Or something… :-)

Anyway, judging by the pictures, if all fails at Tourcms in the coming months, at least you’ll have the fall-back of a lucrative modelling career. Indeed, you might be able to liven up the Travel Technology Show next year with an impromptu performance, a la Chippendales.

Good luck with the big day. Give Travolution’s best regards to Mrs Musings. Does the poor woman really know what she is letting herself in for?

Sawat-dee khab (as they say in Thailand).

But really, I hope you have a great adventure together. ;-D

You wanted to go to Thailand !!?!? - but we’ve got Butlins Skegness all booked for you!

No, spoke to our Bangkok office today, and your mystery tour is all ready for you.

We may reveal a little more at the wedding - not as much as you in those pics mind, though those abs may come in useful for the Thai boxing course you’re doing ;)

Both of you have a great day on Saturday! Best wishes from all of us here.
