TourCMS APIs

We are often asked what APIs TourCMS supports. The top level is that we do not integrate with any 3rd party product distribution systems (GDSes, flight consolidators or bed banks) but we do have the following API interfaces:

Live product data and bookings (Live XML)

All product data (descriptions, images, dates, prices, availability) and booking capability is available via a marketplace API in live XML format

JavaScript widgets - built using the API and simple to add to partner websites

This data (in XML) can be sourced from a single account (if you are the account owner) or over multiple TourCMS accounts (if you are a marketplace partner). The live XML API also has a product search capability enabling geographic (i.e. within certain distance of a geocode) as well as keyword based live data search.

Customers and enquiries

Our Tour/Activity/Accommodation Operator customers can add customer records and/or build enquiry forms using the enquiry form post functionality
Marketplace Partners (agents,affiliates,DMO's etc) can lodge tracked enquiries/leads with the operators they are connected to using the various enquiry and customer methods in the Marketplace API

Web templates / CMS

(Create static XML files / HTML web pages)

The website CMS (integrated within TourCMS) contains a complex template system (including programming logic) for extracting content (product descriptions, dates, prices) out of TourCMS which can then be transferred via FTP to a location of your choosing.

Booking documentation

Not an API in the dictionary sense of the term..... but this PDF manual outlines the tokens that you can use in email and document (RTF) templates. You can use these to create develop letters, invoices, emails, accommodation vouchers etc
