Receipt printing for Point of Sale

Mobiprint

Receipt printing is supported via the Mobiprint app.

Supported printers

See the Mobiprint website "Hardware" section for a list of printers supported by the app, plus prices. The Point of Sale app has currently been tested with the iMZ320, if you feel one of the other Mobiprint supported devices would better suit your needs please contact us prior to ordering.

Setup

Connecting to a printer(Bluetooth iMZ320, other printers may vary)

  • Head in to the Settings app on your device then Bluetooth, ensure Bluetooth is On
  • Switch on the printer, it should appear in the list of Bluetooth devices, tap the device in the list to connect
  • Install Mobiprint (free with IAP)
  • In Mobiprint head to Printer setup and connect to the printer (at time of writing tap Search Printers then when the printer appears tap it then tap Connect - ignore any prompt about setting language.
  • Head back out to the main Mobiprint screen then go in to Printer Utilities, change Printer Language to ??? then tap SEND

Configuring "Return to app"

When printing from the TourCMS Point of Sale the Mobiprint app will show briefly, configuring "Return to app" will cause you to be redirected right back to where you were in Point of Sale once your print has completed.

  • In Mobiprint, from the main screen tap into Settings
  • Tap Return to app
  • Tap the plus icon
  • In the first box enter TourCMS POS, in the second box enter tourcmspos://
  • Tap Save
  • Back at the list of possible settings for "Return to app" tap on the newly created TourCMS POS entry, it should then be ticked and if you head back out into the main settings page "Return to app" should say "TourCMS POS"
