Blog action day - save the environment - Flybe carbon emission labels

Monday, October 15th, 2007

Today is Blog action day…. and so far today over 15000 blogs have already posted about the environment in one form or another.

Within a sea of 15000 posts I am hardly going to write anything meaningful….. so here is something short!

I like the graphic that Flybe show you when you make a flight booking with them.  I haven’t got anything detailed to say about it as frankly I don’t really understand it. It looks nice though.

There is “talk” that one of the main competitors to people buying travel is customers buying a new kitchen or perhaps “white goods” like a washing machine etc. However I didn’t realise that this would mean that flights would need to become more like washing machines - as they have labels that look like this as well (in the UK)!

You can find the full list of their emission labels on this pdf
